When is Fibre-East?

Our next event is on the weekend of 27 and 28th July 2019 at Redborne Upper School and Community College, Flitwick Road, Ampthill, Bedford, MK45 2NU.

Adults : £10 PER DAY
Children : Under 15 – FREE
Groups of 15+: £9 PER DAY

How to find us

Fibre-East is held on the sports fileds of Redborne School and Community College, Flitwick Road, Ampthill, Bedfordshire MK45 2NU.

Driving from M1 Motorway

Junction 12 and follow signs for Bedford.
Through Westoning (with speed camera)
Through Flitwick….
Over Railway Bridge to turn left towards Bedford
At first roundabout – straight on
Redborne School is on the right and Road side stewards will be visible wearing yellow hi vis vests – they will indicate where to go.

Driving from A6

Depending on direction you are travelling from

  • From Luton – left at the Clophill roundabout
  • From Bedford – right at the Clophill roundabout

Follow the A507

  • Straight over first roundabout
  • At second roundabout – A5120 – Turn right
  • Redborne School is on the right

Driving from A1

Follow the A507 – at the Clophill roundabout, straight on onto A5120. At the second roundabout, turn right, Redborne School is on the right.


You will be directed on arrival by attendants to park on the field. Parking is free with dedicated disabled parking spaces.

By Train

The nearest station is Flitwick Station where taxi’s can be found outside. There is a bus service but this only runs on the Saturday. The cab company at the Station (A1 Station Taxis) have a number of people carrier/minibus vehicles that are available.

Please tell the driver you need Redborne South School for Fibre-East or, if you fancy the walk, the venue is approximately 1 mile from the station.
